About the HFMWeek US Performance Awards
Thursday October 17, 2013, Cipriani 42nd St, New York
Against the backdrop of difficult market conditions and growing investor sophistication, alternative investment managers are fighting to stand out from the crowd. With new launches every day, hedge fund numbers are approaching the 10,000 milestone raising the bar and the competition for asset growth and performance even higher.
The HFMWeek US Performance Awards will celebrate those hedge funds and funds of hedge funds that have stood out in this competitive market over the past 12 months, rewarding those that have outperformed their peers and demonstrated impressive growth through the volatility of the last year.
Award categories covered a wide range of strategies, and will this year feature seven new categories, plus new sub-categories for funds under and over $1bn. The long-term performance categories have also been extended to a five year or more period.
