Matt Stefan global co-head of Amundi Alternative Investments is leaving the company to join a start-up hedge fund, according to a source familiar with his plans.
The relationship between hedge funds and their investors continues to show signs of improvement with the latest Preqin investor survey reporting that over 60% of respondents believe fund terms had
turned in their favour.
Goldman Sach’s £17.5m ($27m) fine by the FSA is another indication of the UK financial regulator’s willingness to crack down on firms that “bend the rules”, according
to regulatory advisory group Kinetic Partners.
