Diamond Oak analyst launches advisory firm
Sara Grillo, formerly an analyst at Diamond Oak Capital Advisors, has spun off to launch her own investment advisory firm.
Grillo Investment Management, which was launched last month, will provide high-net-worth individuals and institutions with research and due diligence on individual stocks and hedge funds.
“Research has shown that firms with higher operational quality may tend to gain more alpha,” she said.
Specifically, she will select high-dividend value equities, Reits and MLPs. Grillo clients are currently interested in highly liquid hedge fund strategies, including market neutral, long/short equity and global macro funds.
Before founding Grillo Investment Management, Grillo held positions at Fidelity Investments, JP Morgan, Lehman Brothers, and Rochdale Investment Management.
