Ucits Alternative Blue Chip Index gains 0.57% on-week

The Ucits Alternative Blue Chip Index was up 0.57% for the week ending 7 December, with the positive performance largely attributed to both emerging markets and multi-strategy funds, which saw gains of 2.26% and 1.73%, respectively.

The largest strategies in the index also saw upticks with macro up 0.40%, long/short equity up 0.32%, and fixed income gaining 0.30% over the same period.

All strategy buckets reported a positive contribution to the index with the exception of CTA, at a four basis points loss, and equity market neutral which shed one basis point.
