RBC Dexia unveils global MPS model

RBC Dexia Investor Services this week unveiled its new global market producer and services (MPS) model which is set to offer clients access to multiple portfolio solutions under one umbrella, according to a company statement.

This came as it appointed former SocGen man Guy d’Albrand to head up its lending securities division.

In addition, several other organisational changes were made.

Morgan McDonnell will now lead the firm’s global foreign exchange, cash and credit markets division. Its foreign exchange and cash investment finance product management and development teams will feed into this single unit under McDonnell’s watch, said the statement.

Susan Coleman, currently the head of cash and IF product management division, becomes head of cross-product initiatives, with responsibilities for RBC’s MPS cross-product collateral management strategy, in addition to other initiatives to help expedite its long-term growth plan.

Meanwhile Blair McPherson who currently heads up the company’s portfolio solutions division has been appointed head of market product innovation, detailed the statement. In his new role he will assume responsibility for designing, developing, and managing client-focused products.

Fay Coroneos, formerly head of risk and investment analytics, has become head of MPS service delivery and will lead the team, said RBC.
