Systematic Alpha plans multi-strat futures launch

Systematic Alpha Management, the New York-based CTA, is launching a multi-strategy futures fund next month, the company has announced.

The Systematic Alpha Multi-Strategy Futures Fund will aim to exploit mean-reversion and directional trading themes.

Peter Kambolin, the company’s CEO, said: “[The fund’s approach] comes from a blend of two distinct trains of thought, both using shorter-term forecasting and trade duration than the majority of trend-following CTA managers.”

The fund will be available on the Alphametrix platform and initially seeded by the company’s management team and existing client base.
