Optima appoints Alex Sandhaus as MD

Optima Fund Management has appointed Alex Sandhaus as a managing director, the $3.3bn investment firm announced today.

He will be based in the company’s New York HQ and take responsibility for “expanding the firm’s global institutional and private wealth relationships across all distribution channels”, according to a statement.

Sandhaus has worked in financial products sales and marketing for more than two deacdes, holding positions at both Deutsche Bank and Lehman Brothers.

Dixon Boardman, Optima’s founder and CEO, to whom Sandhaus will report, said: “Few have the proven track record, offshore and US domestic experience, impeccable reputation and integrity that Alex brings, and we know our existing and new investors will benefit from his insights”.
