Jersey law firm Carey Olson appoints two new partners

Channel Islands-based law firm Carey Olson has appointed two new partners to its Jersey office, it was announced this week.

Daniel O’Connor and Peter German will join the firm’s corporate, finance and investment groups, detailed a statement from the firm.

O’Connor, with the firm since 2008, specialises in investment funds, private equity and financial services regulation and is an active member of several industry consultation and steering groups which develop funds policy and regulation.

German joined Carey Olsen in 2005 in the banking and finance team and specialises in finance, real estate finance and more general corporate work, and advises financial institutions, trustees, borrowers and other entities on all aspects of Jersey corporate law

“I am delighted to welcome Daniel and Peter to the Carey Olsen partnership. Both are experts in their respective areas and are committed to delivering the highest level of client service,” said Jersey managing partner Alex Ohlsson.
