Former Steadfast Financial executive Colin O’Donnell‘s New York-based Minetta Lane Capital Partners has launched two flagship offerings, according to investor documents.
The Minetta Lane Fund I and Minetta Lane Fund I Offshore both use an equity long/short strategy and were launched in December.
O’Donnell is the fund’s CIO, having previously worked at Steadfast Financial from 2006 to 2010 as a senior investment professional.
Prior to that he was a senior investment professional at GMAC Commercial Capital, where he co-founded a merchant bank in 2002, while a previous tenure at Credit Suisse in London saw him work on the development and building out of the firm’s European leveraged finance practice.
A filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) revealed more details on Minetta Lane. Adam Goldstein is the co-managing partner at the firm since March 2011. Previously, he was a portfolio manager at Plural Investments from November 2009 to February 2011. Prior to that, he was a senior analyst at Cedar Hill Partners from September 2005 to October 2009.
The SEC filing also detailed that Minetta Lane has a $1m investment minimum and the investment manager is entitled to receive an annual management fee of 1.5-2% of the issuer’s net asset value.
