SkyBridge Capital, an alternative asset manager with approximately $5.7bn under management, has seen some recent departures including Robert Mazurek and Dane Fraser, HFMWeek has learned.
According to a source familiar with the plans, Mazurek joined Brigade Capital Management this month as director of business development for the $8bn long/short credit manager. Meanwhile, Fraser took a position at Credit Suisse as vice president of capital services.
Mazurek joined SkyBridge as a director in September 2010 from the New York State Common Retirement Fund, where he was an investment officer.
Fraser, who was vice president of investments at SkyBridge, started there in July 2010 following the firm’s purchase of Citigroup’s hedge fund unit earlier that year. Prior to his tenure at Citigroup from February 2006 until the acquisition, he worked at Unilever.
