Zenith High Yield Bond Fund and manager join Serone Capital Management

Serone Capital Management has added the Zenith High Yield Bond fund to its platform and appointed the fund’s existing manager as partner upon his arrival at the firm, a company statement detailed Monday.

Vaskevitch will be primarily responsible for managing the firm’s liquid investments, building up the high yield research and execution team.

The Zenith fund focuses on investment opportunities in the European high yield corporate bond market, allocating to both sub-investment grade and stressed debt instruments.

The investment process is based on a credit intensive, fundamental, bottom-up approach with a particular emphasis on the risk/reward ratio of each position and the management of the liquidity of the portfolio through nimbleness and efficient position sizing.

Since taking over as fund manager in October 2008 Vaskevitch has delivered net returns in excess of 70% to investors, added the statement.
