Lehigh Uni Endowment hires public market investments head

Lehigh University Endowment, the $1bn-plus endowment fund, has hired Corey Galstan - the former second-in-command to the CIO of Princeton Theological Seminary - as director of public markets.

In his new role Galstan will be in charge of the public market investments for the endowment, which includes most of its hedge fund allocations. Currently 30% of its portfolio is invested in the hedge funds space.

Peter Gilbert, Lehigh’s CIO, confirmed that Galstan joined this week.

According to his LinkedIn profile, Galstan spent over four years at the Princeton Theological Seminary since July 2007 as a senior investment analyst. Previously, he spent eight years as a financial analyst at Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation.

Galstan replaces Mark Siddoway who left in October for a position at Grandeur Peak Global Advisors.
