Weston Capital seeds long/short Latin American manager

Weston Capital Management, the Westport, Connecticut-based fund of hedge funds and incubation manager, has seeded Sagil Capital, a London-based long/short Latin American manager, HFMWeek has learned.

Sagil employs arbitrage, relative value and directional strategies to take advantage of opportunities in the Latin America region.

It was formed by Adrian Landgrebe, Bradford Jones and Mark Hendricks, who all worked at Rand Merchant Bank, where they focused on investing in the region. Sagil is funded by Partners II, the second incubation fund from Weston Capital.
