CQS prepares to list fund of funds in London

The CQS Diversified Fund has announced its intention to list on the main market of the London Stock Exchange.

The fund, which launched its placing and offering for subscription today, will invest all of its assets in the Segregated Portfolio Alpha (DVA), a fund of CQS managed funds.

“We are delighted at the level of interest shown in the Company since the announcement of its proposed listing on the London Stock Exchange,” said Michael Hintze, CEO and senior investment officer of CQS , in a statement.

He continued: “We believe a multi-fund approach is well suited for this type of investment and should complement the existing choice that investors have in the listed funds sector.”

Shares will be issued at a price of £1 – or the currency equivalent – and a continuation vote will be triggered if shares trade at an average annual discount of 5% or more for any rolling 12 month period.
