The UK election: 'what if?'

Arguments have raged for years about whether markets or governments control economies. Recently, with bailouts and regulation driving the agenda, it's been politicians that have stolen the initiative, making May's UK general election the most important for the financial markets in decades. To guide us through the uncertainty, a number of banks, including Deutsche Bank, have outlined 'what if?' scenarios based on the possible repercussions of a Labour or Conservative victory, as well as the very real possibility of a hung parliament.
